A $3.68 million Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit about the order in which Susquehanna Bank (“Susquehanna”) posted Debit Card Transactions to consumer deposit Accounts, and the effect the posting order had on the number of Overdraft Fees the bank charged its Account holders. Susquehanna denies the claims in the lawsuit and maintains there was nothing wrong about the posting order used. The complaint in the lawsuit is posted on this website and contains all of the allegations and claims asserted against Susquehanna. You are a member of the Settlement Class if you: (a) had a Susquehanna consumer deposit Account that was accessible with a Susquehanna Debit Card between May 15, 2006 and August 15, 2010, and were charged two or more Overdraft Fees as a result of Susquehanna’s practice of posting Debit Card Transactions from highest to lowest dollar amount.
